Long before Holy Smoke Resort welcomed guests, this property was home to a Black Hills mining camp during the gold rush era. Today, guests can still stay in one of the original historic cabins while enjoying modern comforts. Over the years, Holy Smoke Resort has grown thoughtfully—from cabins built in 1991 to our newest accommodations completed in 2015—creating a destination where history and hospitality come together.
